Wtf discord, and wtf razer for not getting your legacy headsets compatible with synapse 3 yet. No idea what i'll have to do next time this issue pops up, as it's happening multiple times a day now. Then and only then did it solve it this time around. Reconfigured my headset, then immediately turned that software off again because it eats CPU resources like nothing else. However sometimes the issue persists through these two steps, and then the only way I got it to stop was to uninstall and then reinstall razer synapse 2.0 (that program is required for my headset to work apparently :/). Even leaving it on 'default' doesnt change anything. And also set these settings correct in the discord app. I have checked wether or not my headset is the primarly source of output and input. Im on Windows 10, with the drivers reinstalled and discord reinstalled. Change the settings under 'Input Device' to configure your microphone, or change the settings under 'Output Device' to configure your headset. The mic works, just no sound from discord. Check that you are configured to use the proper microphone. Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game. Then, on the recording tab, select Razer Nari - Chat as default for both things. On the playback tab, select Razer Nari - Chat as 'default communication device', and select Razer Nari - Game (or THX spatial if you want to use it) as 'default device'. Check Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Properties > Levels. First, Right click on the sound icon on the system tray, and then select 'sounds'. If it doesn't, sometimes a computer restart solves it. To configure your microphone and headset in Discord, click the gear icon, and then select the 'Voice & Video tab. Make sure that your sensitivity levels are not set to max or boosted too much. If I restart discord a couple times, sometimes it'll go away. This also intermittently solves my problem. So you should update the driver to see if that fixes the issue. That being said, I'm still experiencing this issue too, so I'd be surprised to see how razer synapse 2.0 (legacy) is causing this issue if it's not running when it happens on my computer. Here are the steps to fix Razer Kraken mic not working: 1. The mic on your Razer Kraken headset won’t work if you’re using an incorrect or outdated audio or headset driver. I'd had issues with Razer synapse 2.0 (legacy) in the past so I'd already disabled it under task manager>Startup. I'm having the exact same issue as described here, I have a Razer Man'O War headset and see the two discord instances in the volume mixer.
